Our Story

Jean-Maxime Giguère founded 132 Bar Vintage in 2013 with a simple idea: to create a warm place where people feel at home.
Born on Fleury Street thanks to the craftsmanship of local artisans, the bar quickly established itself as a haven for lovers of classic cocktails and genuine hospitality.
A graduate sommelier from ITHQ, he has worked in the restaurant industry for over 25 years. A great enthusiast of spirits, particularly rum, he had a clear mission when opening his own cocktail bar: to offer a convivial and refined experience where every guest leaves with a smile.
Today, 132 Bar Vintage is a community of passionate people united by a shared goal: changing people’s lives, one sip at a time.

Claudia holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and has been working in the restaurant and bar industry for over 18 years.Passionate about visual arts, foraging, and cooking, she naturally gravitated toward mixology and the world of spirits.
Winner of the Mixologist of the Year award at the 2022 Lauriers de la gastronomie québécoise, she collaborates on the creation of Origine Québec products and the development of numerous cocktail menus.
Today, she brings her expertise to 132 Bar Vintage as co-owner, sharing with her partner and associate a common vision: to offer hospitality with a capital H.
Always driven to innovate, she aims to take people on a journey through the flavors and aromas of childhood memories while staying true to her passion and craft rooted in the Quebec terroir.
